Collection: Gary John

Bio:

Gary John is a seasoned street artist who has been active since 1985. Originally based in Seattle, Washington, he began his career creating work for commercial clients, including newspapers and magazines. His artistic journey took a major turn after a collaboration with COCA (Center on Contemporary Art) in Seattle, which led him to Venice Beach, California, where he spent 10 years selling his work on the boardwalk.

Driven by passion and prolific creativity, Gary describes his process as all-consuming: “Art is my passion. There is not enough time in the day to do all the painting I want to do.” Deeply inspired by Picasso, comic books, and American pop culture, his bold, layered works blend street style with the raw energy of urban storytelling.
